Has anyone ever read Stephenie Meyer's Twilight? Somebody mentioned it when I was writing my vampire fic so I thought I'd get it out from the library. I had to ask about it at information and was told it was junior fiction.

Sorry I haven't..
I know another author of Vamp fic, an adult writer if you are interested. I've forgotten the name, but I'll find out for you by tonight.

I'm reading The Green Mile again ... bloody love it.

I should open my mind a bit shouldn't I? Laughing

When I get into town I'm picking up Shane Lynch's book, we all know he's deep - I expect good things Laughing

I read "The Secret Life of a Slummy Mummy" whilst I was on hols - soooo funny and just right for reading when you dont want anything too heavy. I'm reading Lucy Blue Where Are You, now. I seem to be ploughing through books these days - not done that for a while as the fic gets in the way too much!!! lol

Kumiko - have you started your Jeffery Deavers book yet? What do you think?

Yes I have and I am liking it. I bought the Bone Collector today too, which is in the same series as The Vanished Man
I have the life of a Slummy Mummy and I also bought a book called Marshmallows for Breakfast. I am currently trying to read three books at once! Shocked Laughing

Speaking of books...
Cecelia Ahern has bought a new book out called 'Thanks for all the memories'. It's on hardback at the minutes, and I am waiting til it comes out on paperback!

I meant to tell you Kumiko, I watched PS I love you a few weeks ago and I have never been so disappointed in a film. I know films can't be exactly like the book but they can at least be a little like the book. I couldn't wait for it to end and spend the whole 90 minutes saying, well that's not how it was in the book!!

Anyway I finally bit the bullet and bought Twilight, another book that's been turned into a film. There were 25 reserves for it at our library and people on Ebay were bidding more for a second hand copy than Play.com were selling it brand new so I got it from there!
